Every year around Eastertime in Scotland in various venues mainly in
the central belt there is a a Puppet and Animation Festival organised
by Simon Hart, containing a variety of children's theatre with puppets
from the UK and sometimes with companies from further afield. EdinburghGuide
managed to review some of the companies involved in 2002, with some
it was the puppets which stood out wonderfully crafted, but the finest
shows I saw had as well as effective, expressive puppets, puppeteers
who are actors too.
