With light and dark and shadows, one very engaging performer sets us
free to explore fables and stories that begin once upon a time. Playing
with how we see things and how suggestible we are, Topsoe-Jensen liberates
children and adults to let our imagination go where it will. She gives
magical fragments of stories like those strange surreally logical dreams
we have in the mystical borders between sleep and full awakeness.

Once is like those best, bestest stories you long to hear and
escape into again and again. Giving laughter, astonishment, and delight
along with some deliciously scary moments, as the delighted child exclaimed
at the UK premiere performance in Edinburgh, "That's really cool!"
