Suggested Age - 7 - 12 years old . Reviewer - Alex Eades. Wonderful Theatre! Wee Stories retelling of the classic Greek tale of Theseus and the Minotaur, Labyrinth simply must not be missed. Whether you are 7 or 111, you will laugh, clap and scream for more throughout its one hour twenty minute duration, which flies by far too soon. The best thing about this show? The children get involved. They are used as actors to tell the story, having great fun and, at the same time, learning a little something about Greek mythology. Next best? The spectacular performances by Andy Cannon and David Trouton. Perfect comic timing and great clowning (not to mention splendid musicianship) combine to ensure both the children and the adults are in fits of laughter at the mere sight of them. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a duo that has made me smile so much. Hey, I’m still smiling! I haven’t seen every show in the festival this year, but I find it hard to believe that there are any to beat this. Truly inspirational, Wee Stories is a credit to Scottish Theatre and I cannot wait to see them again.
