Psst! is an enchanting show. The puppets devised in this show are tiny. Most of them no bigger than a human hand, the artists nevertheless create delightful, engaging characters who perform a variety of circus acts. Despite their size, and with no speech, we can readily discern their personalities - loveable, petulant, vain. A wooden ballerina is part of the performance - adored by a loveable, stout member of the troupe, who watches in adulation as she performs virtuoso feats, beautifully executed by the artist. Peppered throughout with humorous incidents the children loved it. And as a bonus, at the end of the show, the artists invited the children to come up to the stage and meet the puppets personally. © Barbar Bryan 23 May 2006 - Published on EdinburghGuide.com Cast - Theatre Editor, Thelma Good's e-mail is thelma@edinburghguide.com Although every effort has been taken to ensure the accuracy of the information presented in these pages, no responsibility can be accepted for any errors or omissions. |
