Seen to review at Edinburgh North Edinburgh Arts Centre on 23 May 2006. Run Time - 30 mins no Interval . Reviewer - Barbara Bryan. A toddler delight. Scribble is for toddlers and they love it. The wee ones are invited to stand at the front before going into the theatre, and then the performer arrives. Dressed in black and white, she proceeds to make marks on the floor with tape and then, in French, invites the children to place their feet on the tape and go into the theatre. On the stage is a large sheet of white paper hung up on a line. Once seated, she comes in pulling a black and white box. Singing all the while, she gradually takes a variety of things out of the box to put on the line. Every time she hangs something up she shouts out 'la' which the children gleefully imitate. A huge pen is taken from the box and she starts to make scribbles on the paper. The children love her humour and when she does silly things like frequently dropping the handle of the box onto the floor, they find it hilarious. Eventually, with scribbles, tape and a pop-on nose, a cute childlike happy figure emerged on the paper.
