Michael Ball was in great form at the Playhouse promoting 'Mack & Mabel'.
His enthusiasm for the show and the musical theatre genre was expected, but compelling for all that.
While sharing that there had been few professional revivals about this movie mogul from the days of the silent movies and his love for Mabel Normand, Michael Ball who has been involved in the production from the planning stage shared how they cast the leading lady Rebecca LaChance and the contributions from the creative team.
Watching him work the invited guests while singing 'I Won't Send You Roses' was brilliant, and certainly charmed the press pack as well in a series of interviews.
Involved in the penultimate session of the day he was funny and forthright and nice to meet one of the great stars of stage, television concerts and radio.
