Online, the lines between broadcast and webcast media have blurred to the point where it's difficult to distinguish the two. This list of Edinburgh content providers is probably incomplete, but the obvious destinations are here.

• Beat 106FM Glasgow-based radio also available in the East.
• IndyMedia Scotland Scottish arm of the news wire maintained by activists.
• Leith FM Community radio station based in Leith.
  
• Radio Forth Edinburgh's local commercial FM radio station. Aka Forth One.
• Scottish Television Scotland's commerical television station.
• Scottish Internet Radio Traditional Scottish fare, Scottish dance and folk.
• Talk 107 Launched on the airwaves on February 14 2006. Talk shows about Edinburgh and beyond.
• Fresh Air FM Funky, local radio station that pops up every now and again on the air waves. Interview feature.
