Edinburgh International Children's Festival

Touring children's theatre festival, taking place each summer, with around 15 or so productions in various venues across the city.

Charitable organisation Imaginate brings together shows by top international performers as well as Scottish theatre companies, for an audience that ranges in age from babies to early teens.

Shows combine a range of theatrical styles and tone, often with a striking physical component. Typically festival shows have elements of circus skills, puppetry, slapstick, and visual media elements.
