te POOKa, Edinburgh performance arts charity are hosting a two week long April Fools Festival at their home The Big Red Door with acoustic music, cabaret, exhibitions, film showings, clothes and book swapping, storytelling, art and circus workshops and some very foolish goings on     Programme of events

April Fools Alternative Lunch

12pm – 2pm (£6)

Bored in the office? Want to add some fun and spontaneity to your working day? Come and have an alternative lunch. Grab a sandwich and do a short taster workshop in circus/arts.

Come on – challenge yourself!

April Fools Night

8pm – 1am (£5 or roll the dice)

Its April Fools night!

To fool past midday means the prankster becomes the fool. Come be foolish with us – games, cabaret, a history of foolishness and some silly music from 'the Martians'

Acoustic music from 'The Planes' and other local Edinburgh bands.

Come, sip some wine, celebrate our new exhibition space and enjoy art work from the Masters students of Edinburgh College of Art.

An evening of foolishness with te POOKa. The household of fools invite you to a night of circus, games, cabaret, music and more...

Sunday 5th

Painting and drawing session

1pm – 5pm (£4/£3)

Are you an artist or do you sketch for fun? Bored of the usual drawing classes and still lifes'? Why not try something a bit different?

Come for an afternoon of painting and drawing with some strangely foolish models with circus props, games, live exhibition wall and a bar!

Storytelling

7pm – 11pm (£4/£3)

Local Edinburgh storytellers bring you weird and wonderful tales. Come and enjoy a wee drink, share a story with us or sit back and enjoy listening.

Actor, poet, play write, singer- songwriter, spirit medium, angel channel and magical storyteller- Steve Webb brings us the one-man cosmic cabaret.
