Alastair has visited the Falkland Islands on three occasions, studying the spiders that live there. While touching on spiders he will also include the plants birds and mammals of these famous islands.

As well as a life long interest in how and why people became engaged with the natural world and a wide ranging interest in all aspects of natural history. Alastair has a special interest in spiders. He is continuing his studies on spiders in Scotland and on the South Atlantic islands.
