Edinburgh International Festival HQ, The Hub on the Royal Mile, presents itself as an alternative venue for couples looking to tie the knot.
All rooms in the converted church building are licensed for civil ceremonies and guests enter through the dramatic Sculpture Hall, created around a sweeping romantic staircase.
Jenny Rutherford, Head of Marketing and Business Development, explains the set-up:
“Wedding Planners will be on hand from 11am to 4pm to discuss your wild or truly traditional ideas that will make your wedding your very own. Drop in to view a range of wedding set ups and rooms, sample canapés and bubbly and challenge us to make your dreams come true.”
Behind the gothic spire the Hub is a mix of contemporary design and Victorian architecture with the Main Hall, the Dunard Library, the Gallery and the Glass Room all licensed for ceremonies.
There is the chance to enter a prize draw for free canapés during your big day drinks reception & an afternoon tea for two if you book your wedding within one month of the Wedding Open Days.
