See for yourself the wealth of creative talent on your doorstep at The Market! After its success in December, with visitors and designers alike proclaiming it the best makers market they'd attended it only seemed fair to arrange a few more for 2012!
The market focuses on great local design – be it in textiles, jewellery, printmaking or even artisan confectionary! It’s all about showcasing real design talent, both established and emerging and about giving visitors a chance to meet the artists in a friendly atmosphere.
Entry is free and whether something takes your fancy or not it’s worth a visit – sample some locally made gourmet marshmallows or fudge while perusing the other stalls. If you are tempted into making a purchase (or two!) you’ll be directly supporting makers in your local community – what’s not to like?
