Description

A talk by Dr Victoria Hipkin from the Canadian Space Agency Exploring Mars: Water, Climate, Environments and the search for life.

Mars has captured imaginations for centuries. Formed around the same time as Earth, in the same neighbourhood of our solar system, it is a rocky planet with signs of dramatic climate changes through the ages.

Since 1996, the second wave of Mars exploration has sent rovers, landers, and orbiters to Mars, under an integrated theme of 'Follow the Water', with water being a key to life. Everyone is welcome.
