Description

Disabled Access Day is a national event. The idea is to encourage disabled people, their friends and families to visit somewhere that they’ve never been before - whether a cinema, coffee shop, sports centre, or other venue.

The inaugural Disabled Access Day in Edinburgh was in 2015, and the Scottish capital saw around 30 venues taking part in 2016. This year it's not one but a 3 day affair.

Events include free coffees at select Caffè Nero stores, demos in city libraries, guided tours of the Botanics, and free admission to Holyrood Palace.
