Description

A family, nature festival on the 134 hectare Levenhall Links park in Musselburgh – just behind the racecourse.

This brand new venue is located at a beautiful wildlife hotspot, with fantastic views of the Firth of Forth. There will be a huge amount of fun, educative activities to keep your little wildlife explorers entertained throughout the weekend.

Families can enjoy everything from nature walks to bush craft survival skills with our expert guides. There are over 100 exhibitors to visit, live entertainment, fantastic artisan foods and lots for children of all ages.
Now in its fourth year, Scotland’s Big Nature Festival encourages and inspires young people to connect with nature, and we will show you how to give nature a home in your garden!

Organised by RSPB Scotland, with support from East Lothian Council and EventScotland, the event has loads of fantastic free activities for a really wild family day out.

Try your hand at wildlife photography, dissect an owl pellet or learn about cool science with our interactive demos.

Mums and dads can soak up the festival feel with live entertainment and a real ale bar, while sampling some of Scotland’s finest cuisine in our Scotland’s Larder tent – a showcase area for the Scotland Year of Food and Drink.
