Reid Consort Perform “…of sweet harmony"

Description

Classical choral music performance of “…of sweet harmony” by the Scottish choral group Reid Consort celebrating the life of William Shakespeare.

In the recital texts are written by Shakespeare, inspired by his texts or from the period when Shakespeare was writing.

Alongside a diverse range of music by British composers is the "sublime" Serenade to Music by Ralph Vaughan Williams, setting the final scene of The Merchant of Venice for sixteen soloists.

Each of the sixteen members of the Reid Consort will sing solos.

Entrance

Entry to the concert on 5th November is by donation with proceeds split between St Peter’s Church and upcoming Reid Consort events.

Seats are unreserved and audiences are advised to arrive early to ensure best quality seats.
