Iranian Classical Concert: Darya Dadvar in Collaboration with Royal Conservatoire of Scotland

Darya Dadvar is an Iranian soprano soloist and composer who incorporates jazz, blues, folk and world music into her classical opera.

Darya will be singing in Farsi at a one-off concert at the Assembly Hall, accompanied by musicians from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, conducted by Amin Keshmiri - who will be composing music especially for the concert.

The concert will be the first time Darya has performed in Scotland, and the event is part of the 2017 Edinburgh Iranian Festival.
