The event includes Australian singer-songwriter Emily Barker and the Red Clay Halo, Scotland’s award winning Blazin’ Fiddles group as well as leading Scottish singer-songwriter Rab Noakes performing alongside Glasgow’s Fraser Spiers.
Children’s entertainment includes The Clydebuilt Theatre Company - one of Scotland’s best-loved puppet companies - performing 3 Billy Goats Gruff and Jack and the Beanstalk. One-man-band Mr Book will also delight the under-fives and the Children’s Book Tent will feature story-telling sessions from some of Scotland’s top children’s authors.
This year's theme is "fire", and new for 2011 is a special stage showcasing the talents of a number of Up-and-Coming musical acts including seven from the Scottish Borders.
The Traquair Fair also features art, craft demonstrations and food and drink from across the world.
Standard ticket Prices on the day: Adult £21, Concession £15, Family ticket (2 adults and 3 children, 5-14) £48. Children under 5 go free, and get a free balloon.
