Diary: Thursday August 3rd

Last night, Wednesday, week zero, I wandered off to a few pre-shows: they're cheap which always appeals. The Bongo Club on New Street (the back of Waverly Station) being the first port of call. Free absinthe was enough to tempt me inside the doors, after all it killed most of the French impressionists. To louse the Latrine was six feet three before he started drinking it.

F
olk banging drums, a metal dug with a speaker in its tail or somewhere else, entertained the absinthe befuddled audience, after a half decent African group (see below) daein a eightsome reel. They were no parting wie ony mair drink... so a course wis layed fur the Pleasance.

It wis busy, an never knew that folk wid be so interested in penis puppetry. Ah heard a rumour that a famous arts editor wis maybe daein a cameo, guest appearance, that's what maybe brought the crowds.

It wis selt oot. So after a few wee goldies just tae keep oot the weather, the hamewurd journey wis made, early nicht, morns anither day or nicht….Fergie.
