Bridget Christie has a twinkle in her eye when she delivers this wonderfully engaging piece of comedy. Her timing, delivery and ability to hit that quirky angle of humour is quite extraordinary.

The show delivered in one of the Underbelly Caverns on Cowgate transports us back to a time and place visited so rarely by other comedic and character actors. We are confronted by juxtaposed absurdity, hilarity, irrationality and silliness that has us chuckling from the very start. Her extraordinary singing voice greets us as we enter the venue and her sincerity and charm bids us farewell when we leave.

Bridget is one of those finds you make on the Fringe and is really what this extraordinary three weeks is all about. This girl needs a TV show, now! Gordon Brown should be ashamed that he has not tabled this as a motion in the Houses of Parliament ahead of all the other issues he is dealing with. For anyone who wants to mainline on farce and fun she has to be the best dealer in the city this Fringe.
