The Blurb As you step into the gallery, Tom Shank`s atmospheric watercolour and ink paintings have an immediate visual impact.

Mostly of the Scottish West Highlands and islands, they convey an element of mystery and isolation. I particularly liked his 'North Eigg and Hills of Sky', painted in moody blues and delicate pinks, conveying a feeling of calm and remoteness.

Elizabeth Reid has a more realistic style. Her simplistic images are almost sculptural in form, and her skill in catching contrasts of light and dark in her landscapes is very evident.

Look at 'Guinea Fowl' as an example, but with an added touch of humour.

Last but not least, exciting jewellery in semi precious stones by Sheana M.Stepen are on display. Particularly attractive, is a silver and amethyst necklace with detachable reticulated silver, gold and amethyst brooch - alas already sold!

However, there are plenty more pieces to titilate the taste buds.

The Time Monday to Saturday 11a.m.-6p.m. 4th August - 4th September.
