The Exhibition Contemporary Scottish Art

The Place
Stenton Gallery at Lloyds TSB, 120 George Street

The Blurb The Stenton Gallery is in East Lothian, so it is a treat to see so many contemporary Scottish artists' work on exhibit in the centre of Edinburgh. There are paintings of many different genre, as well as sculptures; something to suit most tastes. My favourite was Marian Leven's 'Seawashed' with its sweeps of muted colour. Jacqueline Watt's figurative paintings of purple and yellow, particularly 'On the edge' are exciting in colour and imagery, as is Charles MacQueen's 'Season of Mists'. In fact there is so much exciting work it is invidious to select. A must to any one interested in contemporary art.

The Time Mon Sun 10:00-18:00hrs. Till 1st September.
