WORKER'S PLAYTIME - 7:30pm till 12:30am on Friday 6th of JUNE

By lovelyjubbly_123 - Posted on 15 March 2008

Lovely Jubbly presents "WORKER'S PLAYTIME" ~ a fabulous Friday night for people with more taste than money.

'WORKER'S PLAYTIME' is the single-parent love-child born out of The Acme Workers' Club & features baldy old AWC DJ 'Uncle David' playing an amazingly wide selection of tunes, from a bewildering array of musical genres for your listening & dancing pleasure.

With a cheap and cheerful bar, good honest no-frills food, dominoes, draughts and card games, plus great music for listening & dancing - this is the opportunity for people to have a great night out without spending a small fortune or having to stay out till the wee small hours.

And somebody will go home with a chicken!

Yes, there's a chicken raffle(*).

* = 'Advocates For Animals' and all other animal activists please note:- no chicken is harmed during the event. Before the event? Well, obviously, yes - it's a dead, frozen, chook. But definately not during the event - that would be cruel. And very messy.
