THE HUNT IS ON AT OUR DYNAMIC EARTH THIS EASTER

Edinburgh’s Our Dynamic Earth, the only science centre dedicated to telling the story of Planet Earth, is running two special events for children this Easter weekend.  Young archaeologists can dig through the pit of extinction to unearth dinosaur fossils in The Dinosaur Dig.  Located outside, this is a great interactive activity for all ages and is free. Our Dynamic Earth is also organising an egg hunt with a prehistoric twist around the internal and external galleries. Eagle-eyed hunters will find dinosaur eggs as they travel 15,000 million years back in time, search a tropical rainforest, dive beneath the ocean floor and experience polar extremes.  Entry forms for the dinosaur egg hunt will be issued with every entry ticket and daily winners will receive a £10 Our Dynamic Earth gift voucher, guidebook and a mug. Through Easter Weekend, there will also be Easter craft activities, free for young children.

The Dino Dig and Dinosaur egg hunt will run from 21/03/08 to 24/03/08
Winners for the egg hunt will be chosen daily.  Each person can claim a free entry for with a ticket to the attraction – Adults: £9:50/Children (3-15) £5:95/Children under 3 Free/Student/UB40/Senior £7.50.  There is no cash alternative to any of the prizes.
