EDINBURGH'S CHRISTMAS SANTA WEEKEND

Santa Stroll, West Princes Street Gardens, Edinburgh from 2.30 pm on Sunday 14th December.

Next weekend (13th-14th December) East Princes Street Gardens will
take on a whole new dimension.  Guests will gather at East Princes
Street Gardens to sample a taste of Edinburgh's Christmas and fire up
their festive spirit with the
launch of Santa Weekend
.

Saturday 13th December will see Santa arrive with his reindeer and
set up home in the brand
new igloo village. Crowds will be invited to come along, and welcome
Santa from
12 pm. The Dunblane Cathedral Handbell Ringers along with Bonaly
Primary School choir will be performing traditional carols whilst Santa
opens the Reindeer Garden, Post Box and Igloo Village, where there will
be activities such as workshops
and storytelling.

On Sunday the 14th December from 2.30 pm the Santa
Stroll will invite crowds to get their walking boots on, wrap up warm (in Santa
Suits) and take part in a festive stroll from West Princes Street Gardens to
Grassmarket and all charity proceeds go to Radio Forth's Cash for Kids and When
you wish upon a Star. Fantastic scenery along the route and a spectacular finale
in Grassmarket.  ‘All A Twinkle', will combine street
theatre interwoven with light and aerial techniques and promises to bring a
warm glow to everybody taking part.
