LeithLate Announces Dates For 2017 Festival

LeithLate, that originated as a one-night event back in 2011, is still going strong 6 years later and now announces its dates for LeithLate17.

This local festival showcases exhibitions in grassroots art spaces in Leith along with live music, spoken word performances, theatrical performance, tours, talks and parties and film screenings across several local businesses in historic Leith.

In February, LeithLate announced a new collaboration with Royal Scottish Academy (RSA) that involves a brand new LeithLate Award at the annual RSA New Contemporaries exhibition where recipient of the inaugural award was Clara Hastrup.

During the 3 days of the Festival, a host of activities will take place in and around the what will be the hub for this year, the Out of the Blue Drill Hall in Dalmeny Street.

A full LeithLate17 programme of new venues and collaborators, as well as programme favourites such as art installations in unusual spaces, live music collaborations, mural tours and parties will be announced in May.
