Bank of Scotland Imaginate Festival

Touring children's theatre festival, taking place each May or June, with around 15 or so productions in various venues across the city. Imaginate brings together shows by top international performers as well as Scottish theatre companies, for an audience that ranges in age from babies to 16-year-olds.

Imaginate claims to be "the largest and most successful performing arts festival for children and young people in the UK" and certainly the quality of local and international performers has often been impressive in the past.

The Festival goes on tour following the Edinburgh run, with shows performaned in community venues and schools as part of our Wee Night Out Programme.
