It's Sir Chris and Mrs Hoy MBE in New Year Honours

Triple Olympic cycling gold medallist Chris Hoy has been awarded a Knighthood for services to sport following his triumph in Beijing while his mother, Carol Hoy, receives an MBE for services to healthcare.

City Centre Biker Race Hits Edinburgh Saturday

Over 250 pro mountain bike riders from all over the country will be racing on a course through Edinburgh streets, stairways and alleyways for what the organisers are calling the "World's First Nighttime Urban Downhill Race" on Saturday night, 6th October between 7pm and 9.30pm.
