Earth Hour: We're In It Together

Tomorrow (Saturday 31st March) at 8.30pm, Edinburgh joins cities around the world by powering down for Earth Hour.

Edinburgh Castle, the Scottish Parliament, and the Scott Monument are among familiar Scottish landmarks that will be sharing sixty minutes of darkness. Following the completion of its 2-year long repainting, the Forth Rail Bridge will go dark for the first time in support of Earth Hour.

What should the new Forth Road Bridge be called? The Scottish Government has announced today it will give the public a say in naming the new road bridge being built across the Firth of Forth, currently dubbed the Forth Replacement Crossing.

Consortium Chosen to Complete Third Forth Bridge

The Forth Crossing Bridge Constructors (FCBC) consortium, comprising Dragados, Hochtief, American Bridge International and Morrison Construction, has been chosen to build the new Forth Bridge Crossing it was announced yesterday.
