Edinburgh City Council has announced that tickets for Billy Connolly gigs at the Usher Hall will now be available from other ticketing outlets in the city. The box office system crashed yesterday after tickets for the gigs in September went on sale at 10am.

The Fringe Box Office will open for ticket collections today, a day before preview shows start. However, telephone and over the counter ticket sales are remaining suspended for a third day. The Fringe suspended ticket sales on Sunday and yesterday to deal with technical problems with its ticketing system (see Fringe Shuts Shop again... story).

The debacle continues. The Fringe has suspended telephone and counter sales for a second day to cope with the fallout from its box office technical problems.
