Cabaret Voltaire

Cabaret Voltaire is one of Edinburgh’s thriving subterranean club and rock venues.

An intimate space with its low-ceilings and booths, it is situated in the subterranean caverns of the Cowgate. The venue plays host to a broad mix of techno, underground dance, and drum 'n' base night clubs. Clubs include underground dance from Taste on Sunday night and "disco for the discombobulated" from long-running house clubnight Ultragroove, fortnightly on Saturdays.

Cabaret Voltaire has two venues, a Main Room and a smaller Back Room, where it hosts up to 30 bands and acoustic gigs each month.

During the Festival in August, a venue for the Free Fringe.
