Edinburgh's Winter Wonderland Ice Rink
Edinburgh's Winter Wonderland is one of the UK's largest open air ice rinks. Located in the East Princes Street Gardens, with the stunning backdrop of Edinburgh Castle and suitably chilly weather, it can provide a magical atmosphere for both skaters and spectators.
In 2008, Winter Wonderland has introduced a children's ice rink for the under 7's to try their skating skills. Double Bladed Bob Skates are available for those under 7's who need that extra bit of balance.
Snow Slide and Bungy Dome
The new bouncy snow slide is suitable for all ages including mum and dad. Jump into one of our Snow Ball Cars - suitable for all ages - bump around and chase giant snowballs. The Bungy Dome is in the lower gardens where the children can tryout their Bungy skills. For very young children there are gentle fairground rides.
Hot drinks
For the grown-ups, there's mulled wine and mince pies or shortbread as well as hot coffee, tea and hot chocolate. You can take these onto the ice rink area or enjoy them in the Ice Gallery.
