Gilded Balloon Teviot

The Gilded Balloon continues to be one of the big comedy venues of the Edinburgh Fringe. The huge Edinburgh University Union building, with its rambling stairs and performance spaces burrowed away on different floors, is ideal for the Gilded's brand of close-contact stand-up and offbeat cabaret and theatre. Formerly, the venue for the Fringe Club, Teviot has eight performance spaces, eight bars, and a café. The building is situated directly opposite the giant upturned cow in Bristo Square.
