Large Church of Scotland community building which originally opened in 13 August 1843. The tall steepled, building is easily spotted half way down Leith Walk, at the junction with Pilrig street.

Inside, the buildings comprise of a large upstairs hall with a stage area, a smaller downstairs hall, our “Open Doorway” and the main worship sanctuary. It also has Anchor Boys, Junior Section and Company Section of the BB, and also Brownies and Guides. The Church of Scotland Guild is open to both women and men and meets on the second and fourth Tuesday each month throughout the winter session. Currently the members are all women aged from 40 to 75+

The hall facilities are available for community groups for Yoga, Tai-chi, and Dosti Muslim groups for women and children. Each year, Pilrig Church puts on a pantomime, which involves church members and young people.

During the Edinburgh Festival runs Pilrig Parlour offering lunches and snacks to visitors and people in the community.
