Edinburgh, EH1 2PGEdinburgh Old Town, "A' listed courtyard which dates back to 1587 and was the former residence of renowned Edinburgh Enlightenment philospher David Hume in the mid-eighteenth century. The three-storey, ‘L' shaped house follows in the traditional Scottish close style.
The City of Edinburgh Council ownned Riddles Court is mainly used by the Workers Educational Association (WEA) whose courses include workplace adult literacy, confidence building, return to learning/study, and workshops.
Under the banner of Diverse Attractions in August, the venue has become one of the longest-established venues on the Fringe with theatre, comedy, children's shows and film screenings.
