Edinburgh's long-established, and popular vegetarian restaurant offers a good selection of buffet style vegetarian and vegan food in its New Town basement home. The restaurant opened in 1962 and has been a pioneer ever since with its particularly wholesome veggie meals, at reasonable prices, in an informal setting. It has also a deli shop and bakery above, and a bistro just around the corner on Thistle Street.
