Within a few months of opening in 1998,  the Bonham, Edinburgh was already noticed by discerning world travellers, not least Conde Nast Traveller magazine who deemed it one of 21 Coolest hotels in the world based on its "relaxed conviviality".

Created within three Townhouses, the elegance of the Georgian architecture is complemented by contemporary art and décor. This discreet West End address on a tree-lined crescent offers city visitors chic boutique accommodation and fine hospitality.

The Restaurant (popular with non-residents) serves Breton-French cuisine inspired by seasonal Scottish produce. Great value Boozy Snoozy weekend lunch too.

We went en famille to The Bonham Restaurant for lunch on a Sunday.   The party included a small girl of two and five adults.   We had arranged a nice table by the window which was very pleasant and the staff were most attentive.   The meal was excellent and everyone enjoyed a variety of dishes; there were two vegetarians in the party and they were well catered for too. A good menu with well cooked and nicely presented food.    We had a very pleasant bottle of white and a nice red wine, so all in all a happy and enjoyable expedition in a welcoming atmosphere where even the small girl in our party was made to feel at home.
