Built in 1888, St James (aka St James the Less Episcopal Church) host a number of live music events throughout the year.

St Paul's & St George's is a Scottish Episcopal (Anglican) church with a congregation from across the city.

The Kirk o'Field is best known as the site of the mysterious murder in 1567 of Lord Darnley, Mary Queen of Scots second husband.

Based in a spacious former Church building with capacity of 500. The Hindu temple is run by a small Excecutive Committee.

Around 2,500 people pass through the chaplaincy centre each week. Used by the university during the hours of 9.30am to 5pm, and from 6pm to 9pm for events held by community and student groups.

Evangelical christian church

A 600-seat capacity auditorium offering both a full-size cinema screen and stage area, with onlooking cafe for beverages and snacks.

Inchcolm Island is a tiny island in the Firth of Forth, between Edinburgh and Fife to the North. It is best known for its ancient and well preserved Augustinian Abbey. The Abbey is currently looked after by Historic Scotland, who run sightseeing, boat trips to the island from April to October.

The Isle of May National Nature Reserve is a long rocky island with sheer cliffs and caves at the mouth of the Firth of Forth. It is home to thousands of grey seals, the fourth largest breeding group in the UK, who feed in the rich kelp forests surrounding the island.

Saughtonhall Church was formed in 1929 and is a local community based church, part of the UK wide United Reformed Church.
