Video: Edinburgh to St Andrews Cycle Ride
The 68-mile Edinburgh to St Andrews cycle ride for charity LEPRA takes place every June. We join the ride right at the beginning as over 1,000 cyclists leave Inverleith Park in last year's event.
Shane, one of the bike ride's organising committee members, explains the origins of the 30-year-old ride, and shares some of the difficulties encountered with Lothian and Borders police when trying to put on a large cycle ride such as this.
