Edinburgh's Christmas Underway With Light Night

The streets are decked, the markets are open, and the skaters gliding in circles around the Melville Monument. It's only Movember, but Santa has got his beard on down in Princes Street Gardens and Edinburgh's Christmas is officially upon us.

Last night, saw around 12,000 people gather for the Christmas Light Night, with the launch of the Street of Light and fireworks at the West End of George Street.

The cast from Five Guys Named Moe (who are performing throughout the Yuletide season at Festival Square) were among those performing along with the RSNO Junior Chorus led by Christopher Bell. As you can see from the picture above, it's never too early to get your "ugly" Christmas sweater or even jacket on!

Keep an eye on this space for reviews of pantos and Christmas shows.
