Description

Scottish Environment week sees five days of popular eco-awareness raising events and green business orientated meet-ups.

The Scottish Parliament hosts a series of talks over the five days on subjects such as energy conservation through smart metering, cleaning up pollution in our seas, and the impact of climate change on nature in Scotland.

The Filmhouse hosts screenings throughout the week of the newly released Age of Stupid - a futuristic climate change docu-drama.

Meanwhile, long-standing experts in organic farming, the Soil Association, will be hosting a meeting at the Friend's Meeting House on Victoria Terrace looking at how communities can contribute to a
healthier, more sustainable future for food and farming in Scotland.
