New Year's Day Conversation 2011

Rebus author Ian Rankin will be joined by another of the city’s crime writers, Lin Anderson, in a discussion about Edinburgh – One Inspirational City at the National Gallery of Scotland.

The event is part of the City of Edinburgh Council’s Edinburgh Lectures series.

Anderson and Rankin, who has often credited the city as inspirational to his own work, will explore the effect the city has had on writers, both residents and visitors, over the centuries.
