Description

After the Fringe performers have packed up and gone home, the Edinburgh Aerial and Acrobatics Convention returns for its sixth year at St Leonard's Land, Holyrood Road.

Top teachers and performers in aerial and acrobatics from all over Europe will be leading around 200 workshops in trapeze, acrobalance, tumbling, tightwire walking, and aerial hoop. Organisers are keen to point out that they also focus on teaching standards and safe practice.

The EAAC is the UK’s largest event of its kind, doubling the number of workshops it carries in a few years. The event is open to all levels, including beginners. Although no previous or related experience is necessary for beginner workshops, a reasonable level of physical fitness is required.

Tickets

The cost of this year's event is £250 but there are discounted rates for early bookings. The early bird discount, available until 31 July, offers a 50% discount, at £125 for the weekend.
