Moon Festival by day
The Chinese Moon Festival is a key date in the Chinese calendar. It is a tranquil celebration for family reunions and for remembering those who live far away. To make sure the pandas don’t miss out, we are bringing the Moon Festival to Edinburgh Zoo.
On Saturday 29th September, we’ll be celebrating the Chinese Moon Festival with a number of family activities from 11am to 3pm
- Come and see our shadow puppet theatre, specially made for this event. Two sessions will run in the Budongo Theatre.
- Chinese art and craft sessions will run as drop in sessions and time slotted sessions.
