Description

Fresh from supporting The Proclaimers for six weeks on their UK album launch tour, Blueflint are touring throughout the UK in spring and summer 2013 .

Blueflint's atmospheric and evocative performances, proved them to be a formidable live act and gained them a strong reputation and following through the UK.

The band’s 2012 debut single ‘Take your shoes off’ gained airplay on stations including BBC Radio 2 (Steve Lamacq,) BBC Radio Scotland and BBC Radio Ulster.

"If you are going to The Proclaimers get there early to see Blueflint." Steve Lamacq BBC Radio 2

In 2009 the success of Blueflint's highly acclaimed debut album 'High Bright Morning,' gained the band plaudits throughout the music press.
In 2011 the much anticipated second album 'Maudy Tree' raised their profile even further.
The Edinburgh-based five-piece band intertwine banjos, fiddle, double-bass and drums to accompany the singers in beautifully-crafted songs, swooping easily from the dark underbelly of folk to buoyant Americana-tinged ballads.
