New Circus Training Space in Leith

Due to the sudden closure of the Full Cirqle centre for Circus Arts in Portobello, Access Parkour is proud to announce the securing of the lease to a Warehouse space at 41 West Bowling Green Street in Leith. The company hopes to kit it out to be a new Centre for Teaching Parkour and Circus in Edinburgh and calling it The Room to Move Centre for Parkour and Circus Arts.

Full Cirqle was a community based circus centre that brought high quality teaching to the local area and to enormous popularity. When the entire industrial estate was sold on and they had to move out of their home after only one year.
The new space is big, beautiful and entirely empty at present – prime for the many plans and ideas that are waiting to be brought to life through a crowd funder running throughout August with the hope of the new centre opening by mid-September. The great news is that in the first day over £1500 of the £10,000 goal was raised.

Rewards are being offered over the next few weeks with all donations that will be seen as an investment in what could be one of the most amazing new locations for movement disciplines in the UK, if not the world.

The companies involved are Access Parkour, a movement coaching organisation with a range of classes across Edinburgh whose classes focus on non-competitive, enjoyable physical training based on parkour for all levels and ages; Circus Alba, a versatile company that teaches and mentors at every stage of participants’ circus journey, offering training, performance and event management for everyone, producing high quality, engaging work and Edinburgh based Freedom of Flight Aerial that offers weekly classes in Trapeze, Aerial Hoop, Silks and Aerial Yoga and runs specialised workshops, private sessions and parties for all ages and occasions.
