Edinburgh based theatre company Tortoise in a Nutshell makes welcome return to 2018 Fringe

This August, Edinburgh based visual theatre company Tortoise in a Nutshell returns to the Fringe with their 2015 Imaginate commissioned show The Lost Things. This will be their first return to the festival since winning a Fringe First with their production of Feral in 2013 and returning with it in 2014 as part of Made in Scotland’s expo programme.

The Lost Things is an intimate and dark production; a contemporary, handmade fairy tale about two young people’s approach to family, friendship and loss created by the combination of award winning Glasgow based writer Oliver Emanuel, known for wonderful works such Flight, Dragon and Titus and the nationally and internationally renowned Tortoise in a Nutshell. The show is an immersive theatrical experience, whose action takes place all around the audience within the walls of a bespoke 7 by 3 1/2 metre geodesic dome. It was Winner of Best Design at Kotorski Festival, Montenegro and will show at The Dock, Pleasance @ EICC.

Saturday 4- Sunday 19 August 2018 (Not Monday 13) at 11.30am & 3pm For families and children aged 8+
