Corstorphine Astoria Centre edg Sun, 10 Nov '19 9.21pm

In 2017, The Corstorphine Trust took a long term lease of the Kirk Loan Hall from The Old Parish Church and renamed it "The Corstorphine Astoria Centre".

Here the 2/4 Ingram organ that was used in the Astoria Cinema (now the site of Iceland) until its demolition in the mid-1970s. The Trust have undertaken to restore the Ingram to its former glory.

The hall is available for hire and has gigs and community events. The Astoria Centre is accessible from Kirk Loan, is all on one level and is a minutes’ walk from St John’s Road and the nearest bus stop.

Custom House Leith

The oldest Custom House in Scotland, this distinctive neoclassical building in Leith was designed by Robert Reid and built between 1810 and 1812, with alterations in 1825 by William Burns. It was built as an administrative centre for the collection of dues on goods traded through the Port of Leith.

Napier Craiglockhart Campus

Home to the Business School, Edinburgh Napier University's Craiglockhart campus has a mix of old and new buildings set within its grounds, overlooking Edinburgh.

Facilities include 200-seat Lindsay Stewart lecture theatre and another 400-lecture theatre with language and multimedia labs and libraries. Napier's innovation and enterprise centre can also be found here.
