Come and Sing Fauré's Requiem in aid of CLIC Sargent

Time & place
Description

The Edinburgh Singers are delighted to invite singers of all ages and abilities to Come and Sing Fauré's Requiem to raise funds for CLIC Sargent.

Starting at 11am, a full day of preparation workshops led by our inspirational Musical Director Alistair Digges will culminate in a public performance, with professional soloists, at 7.30pm. The concert will be followed by a wine reception.

This is a great opportunity to join one of Edinburgh's finest choirs in a performance of Gabriel Fauré's hauntingly beautiful and enduringly popular Requiem, in this well-known local venue at the west end of Princes Street Gardens.

Participation must be booked in advance (£15 / £13; score hire £1). Family, friends and of course the general public are welcome to join the audience for the evening concert (Audience tickets £10 / £8; available in advance or on the door).

Participant and audience tickets can be purchased online, or by downloading the application form from our website.

This event is being held to raise funds for CLIC Sargent, the UK's leading cancer charity for children and young people, dedicated to helping them and their families to deal with the impact of cancer and its treatment.
