Fringe Central

Fringe Central is a hub for those involved in putting on shows and covering the Fringe - where Fringe staff connect with media and performers and host special educational sessions for those needing more information about putting shows on at the Fringe.

Formerly listed as the Fringe Press and Performance Centre, it moves from its old town location down the narrow close at the side of the Fringe Shop and Box Office to the Edinburgh University area of the city. Listed as a venue for the Allen Wright Award, named after long time local Scotsman arts editor who helped nurture many young talents and was a passionate supporter of the Fringe. The award is given to a promising young critic towards the end of the run of the Fringe.
